Pre Purchase Building and Pest Inspection:
With one phone call we will arrange everything. A building inspector and a pest inspector working closely together thoroughly inspecting your property. This gives you two sets of eyes examining your new investment. We also encourage you to be at the inspection so we can explain the findings and recommendations. If you can’t make it we will call you from the property and explain everything answering any questions you may have.
Pre Purchase Building Inspection:
During a Pre Purchase Building Inspection, we assess the structural integrity of the building under inspection, looking for structural defects such as cracking, subsidence, moisture issues and leaks. These inspections also include comments relating to poor building methods, safety issues and other items which might need to be addressed.
Pre Purchase Pest Inspection:
Pre Purchase Pest Inspections are a must in the geographical location of the Gold Coast and surrounding regions. The risk of undetected termite attack is considered to be high from the region of Port Macquarie north, and so our inspections are designed to locate their presence and identify areas of increased risk of termite attack. We will provide you with solutions for maintaining a termite free home and ensure that the property you are looking to purchase is not going to become a nightmare.
Pool Safety Inspection:
Pool Safety Inspections are regulation for the sale of homes with pools in Queensland. Your pool must comply with all Queensland Pool Safety Regulations within 90 days of a property transfer. This can be an expensive exercise, so it makes sense to arrange your pool safety inspection at the same time as your Building and Pest Inspection.
Pre Sale Inspection:
Thinking of selling your property? Don’t wait till you have an offer…. Imagine if there was a signed contract and during the pest inspection active termites were located. Would the contract still go ahead? Would you still get top dollar? Be prepared and organise a pest and building report before your home is listed.
Australian Standards recommend inspections annually. Southeast QLD and Northern NSW fall into a high risk area so we even recommend every 6 months. We allow 1.5-2 hours for your inspection thoroughly checking for termite activity or areas that attract termite activity. When completed we sit down with you and explain the findings and recommendations answering any questions you may have. A report is then emailed or posted within 24 hours.
